Custom code

IMPORTANT

To ensure a smooth update process for your theme in the future, avoid editing the theme files directly. Instead, use the Custom code section to apply any CSS or JavaScript changes. This approach keeps your customizations intact when the theme is updated.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes

2. Click Customize

3. Open Theme settings, and scroll to the Custom code section.

   WARNING

   ⚠️ Ensure you are in the Custom code section, NOT Custom CSS.

4. In the CSS or JS textarea, paste your code.

5. Click Save

WARNING

It's important to note that Custom code and Custom CSS are not the same. Ensure you are using the Custom code section.

The Custom CSS section has limitations on the type of CSS code it supports, which can lead to errors such as preventing the theme editor from saving changes. To avoid these issues, always use the Custom code section for your CSS changes.
